Venue

The ORAHS 2014 Conference will take place at the Faculty of Sciences at the University of Lisbon, Portugal. The Faculdade de Ciências is located in the Campus of the Universidade de Lisboa in the northern part of Lisboa.

Travelling by air

The Portela's International Airport is only 3.5 km from the conference venue. You can travel from the airport to the Faculty of Sciences, by car (taxi), bus or using the newly inaugurated metro station in the airport.
  • Directions by taxi. Ask the driver to take you to the Faculty of Sciences (Faculdade de Ciências) in the University City (Cidade Universitária) near the Tombo Tower (Torre do Tombo). The conference venue is the C6 building (the white building at the end of the road). (there will be a banner announcing the conference)
  • Directions by bus. Take the bus 783 at the Airport Arrivals and get off at the Campo Grande stop. From there you have a 5 minutes walk  up the University Avenue and turn right at the Tombo Tower. 
  • Directions by Metro. Take the Red Line at the Aeroporto metro station at the Airport Arrivals and get off at the Saldanha metro station. Then change into the Yellow Line (direction Odivelas) and get off at the Cidade Universitária metro station. From there you have a 5 minutes walk to the conference venue.
